Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Scan4+ application, cloud services, and website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. License to Use the Service

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Scan4+ grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the application on compatible Apple devices that you own or control.

3. User Content & Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you create. All 3D scans, photos, point clouds, mesh data, textures, and exported files generated using Scan4+ ("User Content") remain your intellectual property. Scan4+ claims no ownership rights over your models.

By uploading User Content or creating a public share link, you grant us solely the technical license necessary to host, store, convert, and transmit that content to you and to viewers with whom you share the link.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Scan, store, or share content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on third-party intellectual property or privacy rights;
• Scan individuals without their knowledge and consent;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the backend infrastructure or rate limits;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the backend APIs or application binaries.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ACCURACY OF 3D MEASUREMENTS. While Scan4+ strives for high geometric precision, millimeter measurements are estimates and should not be relied upon for life-safety, structural engineering, or certified medical applications.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SCAN4+, ITS OPERATORS, OR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SERVICE.

7. Termination

You may terminate your agreement with Scan4+ at any time by deleting your account and discontinuing use of the Service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to cloud services if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the effective date at the top of this page or through the application. Continued use of the Service following notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
